Weir boost for Burton
Robbie Weir will return from suspension for Burton when Wycombe visit the Pirelli Stadium.
Weir has been sorely missed during his enforced two-match absence, with the Brewers drawing 3-3 at struggling Accrington before being hammered 7-1 by fellow automatic promotion contenders Port Vale.
The midfielder is likely to be restored to the starting line-up by manager Gary Rowett as he looks for his team to return to winning ways following four games without a victory.
With Michael Symes continuing to play despite a groin niggle, Rowett will be hoping for positive news on fellow strikers Calvin Zola and Billy Kee.
Zola is still struggling with a long-standing hamstring and hip problem and has sat out the last three matches, while Kee missed Friday night's thrashing at Vale Park with a hamstring injury sustained at Accrington.
Wycombe are without suspended Stuart Lewis as they make the trip.
The midfielder picked up a 10th booking of the campaign at the weekend as Wanderers beat Oxford to record back-to-back one-goal away victories.
Winning a third against promotion-chasing Burton will be a tall order, but Gareth Ainsworth is expected to have Matt McClure and Dean Morgan available following hamstring injuries.
McClure has been absent since the 1-0 defeat to Accrington on Good Friday while Morgan has not featured since the Chairboys lost at Bradford on March 19.
Wycombe lie in 15th position in the table and need a point to mathematically guarantee their survival, while a third consecutive win would leave them just five points off a play-off place with four games to play.
