Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby: "The pitch didn't seem in bad condition - I was told half the pitch was frozen but I was bewildered as there was no ice.
"It was a firm pitch but it was no different to pitches we play on in the summer. I couldn't see why it was off."
Immediately after the call-off Peschisolido described the postponement as 'an absolute disaster' as the Brewers now face 25 games in 96 days until the end of the season.
The freezing conditions meant the Brewers went three weeks without playing a game in December.
And that fixture backlog, coupled with their progress in the FA Cup, means Albion face two games in a week for the rest of the season.
Burton's only respite from
a game every three or four days
will come in early February when they are away against Bury on Saturday, 5 February and then host Chesterfield the following Friday (11 February).
But Peschisolido's side must cram in 18 league games from 1 February to 5 April.
"It's a lot of football to go through but we'll make sure a lot of our days off our recovery and I think the lads will enjoy that," Peschisolido said.
The match against Bradford will now be played on Tuesday, 19 April.
