Burton Albion chairman Ben Robinson has admitted his side's first foray into the fourth round of the FA Cup has not resulted in the tie they had hoped for.The Brewers are away at Championship side Burnley but Robinson told BBC Radio Derby the financial rewards of a glamour game would have appealed more.

"We would have preferred a tie with a Premier League club away - or at home with the tv cameras," Robinson said.

"There is a lot of money for appearing on tv with a live match."

Robinson added: "That has not happened but we are through to the fourth round for the first time in the club's history and we will go there with the hope of causing an upset."

Skin of the teeth perhaps, but the record books will show for all time that on this day in history, Burton Albion finally reached the fourth round of the FA Cup

rode their luck to beat Middlesbrough in the third round on Saturday

and Robinson said that shock win has given them the belief to go and get another victory at Turf Moor.

"The players were tremendous against Boro and we'll go up to Burnley thinking everything is possible," Robinson said.

"At this stage of the competition, for the smaller clubs, it's not so much about the glory.

"It's about a pot of gold, making a lot of money and also about the players having the opportunity to play at the highest level against a Premier League club and at a Premier League ground."
