ave allowed defender Aaron Brown (pictured) and striker Serge Makofo to leave the Pirelli Stadium.
Both players were on short-term deals until the end of the season with the Brewers, but have been deemed surplus to requirements.
Makofo, made an instant impression when he first arrived, scoring a hat-trick for the reserves against Macclesfield but failed to maintain that form for the first team
Brown, signed from Yeovil quickly fell down the pecking order upon the arrival of ex Derby county defender Richard Jackson
