Eagles scored twice to put the Championship side while Albion could celebrate a debut goal from Calvin Zola.
Peschisolido said: "I thought the scoreline flattered Burnley.
"Chris Eagles has got that bit of magic that we had to deal with a few times, but we dominated the game in spells so I'm proud of my players.
"We had Burnley on the back foot a few times in the first half, and then at the end it looked as though we might push on after Calvin had scored our goal. We've come up against an excellent Championship side, but we've matched them in certain aspects.
"There's been so many positives to take, but we've got lots of games coming up and so we need to take performances like this into our League Two games. The boys were superb, but it's about not letting our standards drop now."
